Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) has released Advertisement No. 19-Exam/2026 for 134 Junior Engineer (Agriculture) / कनिष्ठ अभियंता (कृषि) posts under the Directorate of Agriculture, Government of Uttar Pradesh. The online application process will start on 17 September 2026 and the last date to apply is 7 October 2026 (11:59 PM) through the official UPSSSC website (upsssc.gov.in). Eligible candidates must have passed High School (Class 10) plus a 3-year Diploma in Agricultural Engineering recognised by AICTE or the UP Prāvidhik Shiksha Parishad, and must have qualified UPSSSC PET 2025. The age limit is 18–40 years as on 1 July 2026 (with relaxation of 5 years for SC/ST/OBC/EWS, 15 years for PwBD, 3 years for Ex-Servicemen and 5 years for regular UP Government employees as per UP rules). The selection process consists of shortlisting based on UPSSSC PET 2025 score, followed by a Written Examination of 100 marks (Subject-related Knowledge – Agriculture Engineering 65 marks, Knowledge of Computer & IT Concepts 15 marks, General Information related to Uttar Pradesh 20 marks) with 2 hours duration and ¼ negative marking, Document Verification and Medical Examination. Selected candidates will be appointed at Pay Level 6 (₹9,300–₹34,800) of the 7th Pay Commission. Application fee is ₹25 for all categories (General/OBC/EWS/SC/ST/PwBD), payable online via net banking/debit card/credit card/UPI/SBI e-challan. Candidates must use their PET 2025 registration number and OTP to log in, verify personal details, fill educational qualification, review photograph/signature (carried over from PET 2025), submit the application and pay the fee before the deadline. Correction window will be available till 14 October 2026.
