Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released Special Advertisement No. 52/2026 for 80 Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner (APFC) posts in the Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO), Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India. The online application process started on 22 August 2026 and the last date to apply is 11 September 2026 (6:00 PM) through the UPSC Online Recruitment Application (ORA) portal at upsconline.nic.in. Eligible candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university and should be between 18 and 35 years of age as on 11 September 2026 (upper age limit 35 years for UR/EWS, 38 years for OBC, 40 years for SC/ST, with additional relaxation for PwBD and other categories as per Government of India norms). The selection process consists of a Recruitment Test (objective-type) followed by an Interview for candidates shortlisted based on the test performance. Selected candidates will be appointed at Pay Level 8 of the 7th Central Pay Commission with an initial basic pay of ₹47,600 per month plus allowances. Application fee is ₹25 for General/OBC/EWS candidates; Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates are exempted from fee. Candidates must complete One-Time Registration (OTR) on the UPSC portal before applying, upload photograph/signature/supporting documents, select examination centre, pay the fee (if applicable) and submit the application before the deadline.
