The Indian Navy offers a 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme for eligible candidates to join the Naval Academy and pursue a four-year B.Tech degree. This entry is for the January 2025 batch.

Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification | Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent from any Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII). |

Selection Process
Stage | Details |

Shortlisting | Based on JEE (Main) All India Rank (AIR). Only those who have appeared for JEE (Main) 2024 are eligible. |
SSB Interview | Shortlisted candidates will be called for the SSB interview, which includes two stages. |
Medical Examination | Candidates who clear the SSB interview will undergo a medical examination. |
Final Merit List | Based on the performance in the JEE (Main) exam, SSB interview, and medical fitness. |
Training and Education

Training | Selected candidates will undergo basic training at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) in Ezhimala, Kerala. |
Duration | The training will include a four-year B.Tech course in Electronics & Communication or Mechanical Engineering. |

Application Process
- Online Registration: Candidates need to register on the official Indian Navy recruitment website.

- Shortlisting: Based on the JEE (Main) rank, candidates will be shortlisted for the SSB interview.
- SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a two-stage SSB interview.

- Final Selection: Based on the combined performance in the JEE (Main) exam, SSB interview, and medical examination, the final merit list will be prepared.
