The RVUNL Junior Engineer Online Form 2026 is live for 2,005 vacancies of Junior Engineer-I, Junior Accountant and Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II in the five State Power Companies of Rajasthan. Rajasthan Rajya Vidyut Utpadan Nigam Ltd. (RVUN) is conducting this common recruitment for RVUN, RVPN, JVVN, AVVN and JdVVN under Advertisement Nos. RVUN/Rectt.-2026-27/02 and RVUN/Rectt.-2026-27/03. Junior Engineer-I (Mechanical) posts exist only in RVUN, and Junior Engineer-I (Civil) posts only in RVPN, so candidates from these two branches are competing for a much smaller pool than Electrical applicants. On the clerical side, Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II is the largest single block at 765 posts, with JVVN alone accounting for 288 of them, followed by JdVVN with 186 and AVVN with 201 across Non-TSP and TSP areas. The Nigams have clearly stated that the number of vacancies may increase or decrease according to requirement and that no separate corrigendum will be issued for such a change.

For ex-servicemen the computer certificate is not required at the application or document verification stage, but it must be acquired before joining, and a minimum three-month computer course from a Government of India defence institution is accepted. Candidates should note that the date on which the result is declared or the marks sheet is issued is treated as the date of acquiring the qualification, so anyone whose degree is still pending must be certain it will be awarded before the document verification stage.

Age relaxation under this recruitment is non-cumulative, which means two clauses cannot be combined except for candidates with a benchmark disability. Relaxation available to in-service employees and trained apprentices applies only in the Nigam where the candidate is working or completed the apprenticeship, not in any of the other four companies. The Type Writing Test for Junior Assistant / Commercial Assistant-II is worth the larger share of the final merit, so typing practice matters more than test-taking speed for that post. It is conducted on a computer in four segments of 10 minutes each — Hindi speed, Hindi efficiency, English speed and English efficiency — carrying 25 marks each, and roughly three times the category-wise vacancies are admitted to this stage. Candidates with a benchmark disability are awarded the average of their Main-examination marks instead of appearing for the typing test.

Postings depend on the company allotted from your preference list. RVUN handles electricity generation with major stations at Kota, Suratgarh, Chhabra (Baran), Jhalawar, Ramgarh (Jaisalmer), Banswara, Dholpur and Barmer, along with a coal mining site at Ambikapur in Chhattisgarh.
