Navy 10+2 BTech Entry Jan 2025 Batch Recruitment

The Indian Navy offers a 10+2 (B.Tech) Cadet Entry Scheme for eligible candidates to join the Naval Academy and pursue a four-year B.Tech degree. This entry is for the January 2025 batch.

Eligibility Criteria

Criterion Details
Age Limit Candidates should be born between 2nd July 2004 and 1st January 2007 (both dates inclusive).
Educational Qualification Passed Senior Secondary Examination (10+2 Pattern) or its equivalent from any Board with at least 70% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) and at least 50% marks in English (either in Class X or Class XII).
Marital Status Unmarried
Nationality Indian

Selection Process

Stage Details
Shortlisting Based on JEE (Main) All India Rank (AIR). Only those who have appeared for JEE (Main) 2024 are eligible.
SSB Interview Shortlisted candidates will be called for the SSB interview, which includes two stages.
Medical Examination Candidates who clear the SSB interview will undergo a medical examination.
Final Merit List Based on the performance in the JEE (Main) exam, SSB interview, and medical fitness.

Training and Education

Aspect Details
Training Selected candidates will undergo basic training at the Indian Naval Academy (INA) in Ezhimala, Kerala.
Duration The training will include a four-year B.Tech course in Electronics & Communication or Mechanical Engineering.
Service Upon successful completion, candidates will be commissioned as Sub Lieutenants in the Indian Navy.

  3. Shortlisting: Based on the JEE (Main) rank, candidates will be shortlisted for the SSB interview.
  4. SSB Interview: Shortlisted candidates will undergo a two-stage SSB interview.
  5. Medical Examination: Candidates who clear the SSB interview will undergo a medical examination.
  6. Final Selection: Based on the combined performance in the JEE (Main) exam, SSB interview, and medical examination, the final merit list will be prepared.
